All-State Theatre Conference
All-State Conference (TASTE) will be held Saturday January 16th from 9-4 CST.
College Callbacks will take place on that day.
Workshop details below
TASTE-Tennessee All State Theatre Event
Note: There have been some additions to the workshop schedule, so please use this version to guide you.
Callback sessions are designed to be informational in nature, with university programs presenting information and answering questions, as you would do in large scale audition situations such as at SETC where you simply visit their booth and talk with them. You will not need to perform anything and you do not need a certain scheduled time. Callback sessions have been scheduled according to the requests of the programs, so some may conflict time wise. You may spend a bit of time in each, or stay in one the whole time. We encourage you to contact the programs that interest you through your school email.
Saturday, January 16th, 9:00 to 4:00. All Times are CST

Introduction to Digital Costume Rendering: There are so many accessible tools available to costume designers who would like to use digital tools to create dynamic, exciting costume sketches. This workshop will quickly demonstrate the basics of setting up a digital costume rendering, regardless of which software or hardware the user prefers. We will talk about digital croquis, working in layers, and adding color. Whether you've spent time tooling around in Photoshop or Procreate or you are brand new to the idea of digital painting, this workshop will get you on your feet and ready to play. Digital rendering set up is not required; you're welcome to watch or play along.

Thanks, I Got it at the Thrift Store! Costumers are always working on tight budgets with limited access to materials. The thrift store is every costumer's secret weapon: it's a hardware store full of half-constructed possibilities, period costumes, trimmings, applique, yardage, and accessories. With the right imagination, you can shop almost anything from a thrift store. Join us to look at some common thrift-store finds, and to learn what the potential of these items can be. We will end with a breakout group activity in which small groups get a few (virtual) thrift store items and brainstorm the possibilities together.
