2016-17

  •  Received Tennessee Arts Commission Grant to work produce The Stewarts Creek Arts Academy, a summer arts program.
  • She Kills Monsters - Placed 3rd in the State at the Tennessee Theatre Association One Act Play Festival in Dickson,TN, 
  • She Kills Monsters - Awards; All Star Cast- Tristin Hicks and Celina Copeland, Award for Technical Excellence,  Tennessee Theatre Association One Act Play Festival in Dickson,TN.
  • We Shall Overcome- Original student written One Act Play, based on the Nashville civil rights sit-ins, Invited to perform staged reading at the Southern Festival of Books, one of the largest book festivals in the nation, fall of 2016.
  • Tennessee Theatre Association College Auditions:   Eight Students auditioned.  Results; callbacks from 36 colleges combined.
  • 1 student selected for the Tennessee Governors School for the Arts in technical theatre with full scholarship.
  • Original, student created, ten Minute plays Place 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in group performance at The Tennessee History Day District Competition.
  • Tennessee Thespian Conference College Auditions: Five Students auditioned.  Results; callbacks from 42 colleges combined, both accepted to the University of Memphis Program and invited to their scholarship auditions.
  • Southeastern Theatre Conference College Auditions:   Seven Students auditioned.  Results; callbacks from 290 colleges combined.

2015-16

  • The Yellow Boat- Received Tennessee Arts Commission Grant to work with David Saar, the playwright and Benjamin's father, and The Arizona State University Center for Child Drama, to create an exhibit of Benjamin Saar's artwork in conjunction with the play, .
  • The Yellow Boat - Performed at the Cumberland County Playhouse in Crossville, Tennessee, largest professional theater in Tennessee.
  • The Yellow Boat - Placed 2nd in the State at the Tennessee Theatre Association One Act Play Festival in Maryville,TN, 
  • The Yellow Boat - Awards; All Star Cast- Hunter Thaw, Tristin Hicks and Kaelyn Giles Best Director - Donald Fann. Tennessee Theatre Association One Act Play Festival in Maryville,TN 
  • The Yellow Boat - Nominated for Best Ensemble Performance in a Play in Broadwayworld.com Tennessee Theatre Awards.
  • The Yellow Boat - One of only two shows chosen for mainstage performance at the statewide Tennessee Thespian Conference.
  • The Yellow Boat -One of only 20 shows in 10 Southeastern states to perform at the Southeastern Theatre Conference One Act Play Festival in Greensboro, NC, the largest theatre festival in the country. 
  • The Yellow Boat - Awards; Judges Choice Award: Best Movement- The cast of Yellow BoatAll Star Cast- Tristin Hicks.. Southeastern Theatre Conference One Act Play Festival in Greensboro, NC
  • Original, student created, ten Minute plays Place 1st in Solo Performance and 2nd, 3rd and 4th in group performance at The Tennessee History Day District Competition.
  • We Shall Overcome, an original ten minute play based on research of the Nashville Civil Rights Sit-ins, won 1st place in Group Performance at The Tennessee History Day State Competition and qualifying for the national competition.
  • 4 students selected for the Tennessee Governors School for the Arts in theatre.( three in performance one in technical theater) all with either partial or full scholarships.
  • Donald Fann named the Tennessee Governors School for the Arts Teacher of the Year.
  • Tennessee Thespian Conference College Auditions: Two Students auditioned.  Results; callbacks from 8 colleges combined, both accepted to the University of Memphis Program and invited to their scholarship auditions.
  • Southeastern Theatre Conference College Auditions:   Three Students auditioned.  Results; callbacks from 50 colleges combined.

2014-15

  • Ordinary Heroes- Original student created work based on oral histories of military personnel,  Invited to perform at the Southern Festival of Books, one of the largest book festivals in the nation, fall of 2014.
  • Ordinary HeroesPlaced 5th in the State in the Tennessee Theatre Association One Act Competition, Maryville, TN.
  • Ordinary Heroes-All Star Cast-Emily Tuverson, the Tennessee Theatre Association One Act Competition, Maryville, TN
  • Middle Tennessee Premiere of Mary Poppins
2013-14
  • Ordinary Heroes, 8 nominations in Broadwayworld.com Tennessee Theatre Awards including Best Play and Best Original Work.
  • Sound of Music, 14 nominations in Broadwayworld.com Tennessee Theatre Awards including Best Musical and Best Ensemble in a Musical.
